Find a game through /games?date=YYYY-MM-DD, then read its detail, live state,
starting lineup, rotation, box score, matchup, play-by-play, and shot chart.
Use /teams/{id}/roster?season=2025-26 for a historical season roster; current
membership can differ from a player’s earlier team.
NBA analytics include team season statistics, team defense, defense versus
position, team playtypes, shot types, player tracking, season leaders, and

Team injury reads support current and archived reports. The league-wide
/injuries endpoint requires date=YYYY-MM-DD; omitting it returns
endpoint_not_for_sport. Statistical and historical reads require the stats
