NBA and KBL share schedules, identity, rosters, standings, live state, odds, box scores, matchup, and rotation reads. League-specific detail differs; NBA analytics must not be assumed available for KBL.

Game and roster workflow

Canonical identity and current team membership can differ from the team a player represented in an earlier season. Use a season roster for historical lineups. Season labels can be normalized to a start year by supported readers; follow the individual parameter schema.

NBA analytics

DVP, tracking, and play-type data have separate source coverage and samples. Use their response fields rather than substituting team defense as a DVP value. Shot coordinates and classifications follow the returned provider projection; do not assume every league uses the same coordinate system.

KBL detail

KBL supports the shared /team-stats?season= endpoint. Its team season statistics are derived from player box scores, while NBA statistics are sourced from the NBA team-statistics feed. The leagues share the response shape; their source coverage differs. KBL adds /head-to-head?teamA=&teamB=&season=, /season-leaders?season=&teamId=&limit=, and /players/{id}/season-stats?season=. Player season stats include counting totals, per-game metrics, and shooting percentages when available. /games/{id}/play-by-play and /games/{id}/shot-chart use KBL-specific event projections. The NBA playtypes, shot-types, tracking, and DVP readers do not establish equivalent KBL coverage.

Injury reports

KBL’s response includes:
Team-scoped KBL responses replace items with team_id and injuries. The empty collection does not claim that all players are healthy. Historical NBA reports also depend on archival coverage for the requested date.
